Hey Guys,
it´s been a crazy two last weeks, so much snow here in Austria, it´s just been amazing! Sick Pillow Lines and crazy freeriding just awesome!!!

Last weekend I went to Wolfsburg, to the autostadt, to do a skishow for VW. It´s been awesome the set up was real good, with some boxes a down rail and a badass airbag, where everybody did at least 10double backflips into during the whole weekend haha!

After Wolfsburg I went straight to Ispo to check out all the new products, doing some interviews and just meeting all my friends team managers and everybody else again!

Sunday I´m off to poland to start shooting some urban for our new film project called JOB, it´s going to be awesome and a lot different from everything u have seen so far in the skiing industry so stay tuned ;)

it´s about time again, the new Line Travelling Circus is out, and it turned out amazing! such great times with good people and deep pow, and funny random stuff that happened!

I´m very happy with my last season, I got to go on a lot of different trips, and just had a blast skiing everything from urban, to powder and nice park jumps!

Hey Folks,
sorry for the lack of updates, during the last few weeks.
Been to france for the SFR Tour, the weather was not to nice, but the organization made the best out of it!
We´ve been shredding a bunch of pow pow during the week and then on friday one day before x-mas, the comp was on.
I did pretty ok finishing 5th place, but was not to stoked on the result tho....anyway, everybody had a great time there and we skied real good pow.

On friday, our crew drove back home to Innsbruck with the Downdays van, for 8,5h, luckily the engine control lamp was switching on, cause somebody forgot to change oil, so we had to drive all the way from Val Thorens, back home to Innsbruck with not going faster then 100km/h and listening to badass Schlager music....italian style of course, with Lukas Schäfer and Stefan Schenk ;)

I arrived 2am in the morning at Innsbruck, slept till 7am and then drove to my home for 7h to see my parents for x-mas...

It´s been real nice back home chilled with my dogs

and just had a real chilled x-mas with my family!

Jone just told me that I got a double page in the photo gallery of the new Downdays Photo issue, which is always one of the best magazine during the whole year, so make sure to check it out and get ur hands of one of those special magazines.

Yesterday I drove back to Innsbruck, been skiing in Mayrhofen today. They got a really nice rail line and the medium jumps are set up as well, so it was good fun to shred with my friends again.
In the afternoon we picked up Lj, Will, Max, Niklas and Tobi from the airport.
We gonna be around europe in 2 LINE caravans for the next 2weeks filming for the new Travelling Circus Europe episode!
Make sure to stop by at the 4th of Jannuary in Laax to ski with all of us, and just have a great time ;)

Winter is finally here!

Hey Guys,
just came back home from skiing, was a super cool day, first pow pow day of the season, so winter is finally starting, even here in austria.
I went to Hochfügen last week, and today again and it´s crazy how much that place changes in a week, just because of 30cm of snow, but in a really sweet way actually ;)

I also just got my new ABS Dakine collaboration bag pack, which I´m super stoked on, and just packed all my stuff together to go to France, tomorrow, for the SFR tour.

Pretty sad to leave Innsbruck now, cause it would have been another sweet pow day tomorrow, but I really hope the weather guys are right, and there is another storm com in on wednesday.

HEy Folks,
finals are down here in Stockholm and Elias Ambuehl took the win once more on the city big air comps in europe. He performed a sweet looking dub 12reverse tail and a sw dub 10 mute to japan. 2nd was Bobby Brown with a sweet dub 10rev tail and a sw dub cork 12 mute! James Woods made his first podium on the city big airs with a 3rd place. Doing a dub 12 mute and a sick sw dub 10 truck driver.

I kinda screwed up my qualification yesterday slamming on my right dub 12 and my left flat 10. Anyway we had a great day today with some sweet Line sinning session and a great team dinner.

Dakine Sales Meeting!

Hey Guys,

haven´t been up here for a while but I was pretty busy on handling university lately, but I managed everything which I´m really happy about!

Just been skating a bit last week with my buddy Andy Mathews in Innsbrooklyn, got an invite for King of Style, which I´m really stoked for and now I´m just hanging around in Mayrhofen for the Dakine Sales meeting, which is really sweet!

Today I went up skiing Hintertux, was at the gondola, at 8in the morning, and there was a bunch of racers Ihad to fight with for the first gondola ;)

It was really worth the early wake up call tho, perfectly groomed park, soft landings, really sweet, big jumps, and most importantly NO people at all!

After the session in the park I went around Mayrhofen to look for the new Skatebowl, unfortunately it was a little bit to cold and therefor the bowl was still wet so there was no possibility to skate it.

Try to get some early park labs in tmrw again, and keep u guys updated ;)

1st Place Kaunertal Opening!

Hey Folks,
just came back home from a sick day at the Kaunertal glacier.
Today they had the Pro contest running.
Everybody had 3runs one on the jump line and one on the rail line, 3rd one you could choose...
Everybody was skiing pretty well, for the beginning of the season and I´m very happy to ended up on top of the podium, after not skiing to much lately ;)

Just woke up to a car covered with snow this morning in Innsbruck!
Looked out of the window and it looked like this

Hintertux glacier got about almost a meter of snow during the last days, and tuesday is supposed to very good weather so I´ll be out there for sure to have a look!
Park was very good last week, and maybe I´ll even catch some first season pow turns!

IF3 Annecy!

Hey Folks,
spend the weekend in Annecy for the 2nd edition of the If3 europe!
We had a crazy weekend, meet all my skiing buddies again, enjoyed the beautiful weather, watched some great ski movies and just had an awesome time in general!

There has been way to many movies this year to watch them all, but the highlight was Sherpas ALL I CAN! One of the most perfectly edited movies of all time and a must have for everybody in my opinion!

Summer is coming to an end!

Summer Time!

Hey Folks,
it´s been a while since the last post but about 3 weeks ago I left for a 2month vacation to Indonesia, one of my most favorite placs in the world.
The internet is lacking over here so it actually is quite hard to get a decent connection or even to get it at all.

Ivé been surfing for a bit now and moved from Bali to Lombok in order to relax about more and get away from the masses!

The weather and the food is nice as always and we are having a great time over here.

So after hanging out in Lombok for a week, we decided to go trekking on one of the biggest vulcanos Indonesia has to offer. It was a tough hike up to 3726m from sea level but totally worth it.

We hiked for 3 day´s straight, and also spend 2 nights on the vulcano in a tent. The last day was pretty intense cause you had to wake up at 3am in the night, hike for 3hours to be at the summit for sunrise, which was a tough hike from 2800m up to 3726m. After that you had to hike/climb down from the top to the bottom, which took about 9h of trekking. Crazy but totally worth it.

after some great days of hiking we had an awesome day at the waterfalls of Senaru

After the week of trekking we decided to see more of Lombok, grabed our Motorbike and drove around all northern Lombok, from Sengiggi, to Bayan, to Obel Obel, with awesome black beaches and no people at all, followed by Sambelia, Labuhan Lombok, Praya and then finally back to Kuta.

Today we had a good day surfing, the swell picked up and it´s quite huge out there.

Summer Time

Hey Folks,
it´s been a while since my last post, but I´ve been pretty busy doing all my exams for university which I was not able to do during winter season + all the ones from this summer semester as well!
Tomorrow and tuesday will be my last 2 exams for this summer semester, keep your fingers crossed so that I will pass them ;)

In other news I´ve gotten into Wakeboarding. Been to the cable at Aschheim close to munich, Inselsee Allgäu and most of the time to Kiefersfelden, the closest cable from Innsbruck!
It´s been soo much fun trying out a new sport, which I totally sucked in at the beginning. Very fun and challenging at the same time, but now I think I quite got some skills for the first 3weeks I´m doing this sport! Learned a bunch of rail tricks such as fs 9s over a box and also got myself into sliding the bigger obstacles such as a quite big a frame box and stuff, moreover I learned some nice kicker tricks, such as backflips and fs 5s and sw fs 5s!
So as you can see I´m having a great summer trying some new stuff and just having fun!

thx a lot to Manou my good buddy from france who gave me this awesome Semental surfboard as a gift, when I was in france a month ago! Now I´ve been shredding this little baby on the cable or at the Eisbach in Munich, to get myself prepared for Indonesia in 1week!

I will go home for a couple of day´s on tuesday to hang out with my parents for a bit and I also hearded that my local skidome got a bunch of nice jibs, so I might head over there for a session before leaving to Indonesia to catch some waves!

I had a great time at the cable in Kiefersfelden, everybody has been super nice to me from day 1 on, and as far as I have felt there have never been a lot of people there so everybody who is around, or living close to Innsbruck or Munich area, should go there to check out this sick place and shred for a bit!

Freeskiers.net Camp Kaunertal!

Hey Folks,
about 2 weeks ago we´ve been at Kaunertal to host the first ever Freeskiers.net Camp powered by Line Skis.
It´s been a great two days and my first time ever to coach anybody, and it´s been a lot of fun!
The park has been in great shape and all the guys we´re super stoked to be skiing and psyched to learn new tricks every run!

As I said earlier, it´s been a fun weekend with perfect weather on saturday and I was very stoked to pass on my knowledge to younger guys and help them to progress!

Now I´m in france trying to catch some waves, chilling at the Dakine office and enjoying the ocean in general to prepare myself for the summer season in Val Senales in June!

German Champion 2011

Hey Folks,
Last week at Kaunertal the first ever official German Championships took place!
On Saturday the Slopestyle comp went down!
The park was pretty good even if the jumps were not the biggest, the rail line was pretty technical, so it was quite fun to shred!

Everybody had 2 runs on the jumps and 2 on the kickers, best run of both counted and got put together to a final score!

I ended up winning the first ever German Championships, with a right nosebutter cork9 blunt into sw left 10 on the jumps and a nosebutter 2 in on the dub kinked, a sw lip2 pretzel 2 on the downrail, a sw tails 2 pretzel 2 on the dub kinked box and a sw on fs change up blind 4 out on the elephant rail!

Sebi Geiger put down an impressive dub cork 10 on the jumps, which was pretty crazy considering the size of the kickers.

Shootings!

Hey Folks,

been quite busy the last week due to some last season shootings!
As I said I´ve been to Sölden to shoot a special jump!
Which has been quite nice but not as perfect as expected!
The jump was pretty good but not really big and you had to hike the last 75m uphill which made it really hard to get a good session going and really focus on tricks!
Anyway we all had a nice time and got our first sunburn of the spring!

It was really nice even the weather was not perfect!

The day after we went to Arlberg to build a bc jump which turned out to be really great!

Hey Folks,
been at the Markus Eder and Matthias Fabbro invitational for 3days now and it´s been sick!
They have some of the best jumps I´ve ever hit, the riders are amazing and everything is just perfect!
We had 2 days of good shredding already one night session and the and a cash for style session today!
Tomorrow morning the sunrise shoot is gonna take place and everybody is stoked!

Had a great time shredding Mayrhofen with my buddies, before Euro Open and Austrian Open, the weather was not that great but we definitely had fun

as you may know, the Aestivation Crew just did a Catskiing trip to Valhalla Powdercats in Canada!
Denis Ehlert, Simon Abt, Tobias Tritscher and myself hoped on a plane in Munich on the 13th of March to enjoy 10 awesome days of deep powder in overseas.

The days Catskiing went by way to fast!

Woke up every morning at 7am hop on the Cat, and come back home at 6pm.

After we were done Catskiing, we drove to Whitewater to get some last final shoots, and also to Nelson to check out the City! Canada was really nice, not to many people and a really beautiful landscape!

A.A.I. recap!

Hey Folks,
I have been at the Andri Ambühl Invitational last week!
Been there for 3 days after the Euro Freeski Open and 2 days of shooting at Laax for Dakine which has been fun!

The jump Andri built was very good, one of the better once I ever hit and everybody was throwing down!

Kai Mahler was prolly the most impressive rider stomping first try sw dub misty 12 and 14 and straight double cork 9 blunt which I have never seen before, this kid is just crazy and gonna be big in the future for sure!

Also big up´s to all the other guys it was a pleasure hanging out with you and I had one of the most fun weeks of my season with all of you!

There will also be a movie released about the A.A.I. 2011 at the Freestyle.ch in Zurich, make sure to check it out, we got some really great shoots!

3rd Austrian Freeski Open

Hey Folks,
wooohoooo soooo stoked, got 3rd place at the 2011 Austrian Freeski Open at Kitzsteinhorn!

After winning the qualification on thursday I was really stoked for the finals on saturday!

The park this year at Kitzsteinhorn was really good with a kinked rail which could be done as a normal down from the site too, followed by an elephant box and 2 jumps!

Saturday the weather was amazing, pure sunshine, warm temperatures and a perfectly groomed park!

I got 9th in the Semi Finals, and top 10 advanced to finals!
In Finals everybody had 3 runs best counted!

I pretty much went for it with a right 2 in pretzel 2 out on the down part of the kinked into a 180on to sw left 2 in pretzel 2 out on the elephant into a sw left dub cork 9 mute to right cork 9 blunt tail on the jumps!
In the second run I stepped it up putting down the same rail run but going for a sw left 12 on the first jump instead of a 9!
Landed everything clean, and ended up in 3rd place behind Andreas Hatveit and Elias Ambuehl in 1st and 2nd!

Hey Folks,
have been quite a bit on the road lately...

Last week I had two awesome days shredding slushy Mayrhofen with sweet jumps, straight after on friday the 11th, I drove out to Gerlos, to compete in the Gloryfy Basterds!
This year the set up was great, a huge corner with 2 very step take offs and a big jump in the middle of the corners!

After the qualifications finals were on and everybody had to take one hit on the corner followed by one hit on the jump and a 3rd run to improve the score from one of your previous runs.

After a sick final Patrick ended up in 4th place with a huge flat 5 a very stylish bio 9 mute to japan and a massive straight air on the hip!

3rd after dominating the qualifications was Markus Eder with a very nice and big ao 450blunt on the corner a sweet cork9 blunt and a bad ass dub cork 12 mute which he unfortunately crashed on!

Flo Geyer and myself got a tie 1st place! Flo went big with a dub cork 10 on the jump and a nice ao 810on the corner which was not too big unfortunately!

Then it was my turn and I went for a big sw cork 5 on the corner followed by a rightcork9 blunt on the jump and a sw left 10 where I kind of lost my grab!

So it was quite hard for the judges with Flo having the better jump and me the better Corner hit, they made the right decision in my opinion and Flo and me shared the 1st place!

Everybody stoked ;)

The next day Flo and me drove to Saalbach to compete in the Glemmbang Slopestyle comp...

After arriving a little to late and just getting 3training runs, the qualification started!

About 150 people competed....took about 4,5h to get the 2 quali runs done haha

Flo and me made it to finals! This year they had a sick course with a downrail into a true table kicker into a gap jump, followed by a kink rail and a wall/spine feature...really fun course I have to say, besides the park is open every day until 10at night, so if you are around and had to work late this is the place to go for sure!!!!

Anyway finals were on and we had 2 runs one style on and one technical one, both counted...no mistakes allowed!

I went for a sw 2 in pretzel 2 out on the downrail a sw left 9 to right cork7 blunt to handplant 5 on the wall on the tech run and a sw 2 in blind 2 out on the down to right cork 5 to sw left cork5 on the style run...luckily I landed all my tricks and was able to win this years Monster Glemmbang at Saalbach, really stoked!!!!

Sunday I picked up Skye and Sean Balmer to drive to Val Thorens to compete in the Frostgun Invitational and the 2nd stop of the SFR Tour in La Clusaz...after a sweet 10h drive we arrived in Val Thorens at 3o´clock in the middle of the night!

Monday we tested the jump and wednesday Markus and me drove to La Clusaz!
We booth made it through qualis and had to take 3runs in the finals, 2 counted and they had to be different tricks as well!

I screwed up pretty bad crashing two of my 3 runs, not stoked for sure! But Markus on the other hand landed a sick kangi 9 and a sw 10blunt letting him finish in first place!

Skipass Finals SFR La Clusaz

Now he is also leading in the SFR ranking and will have to give everything on the last stop next week at Alp D´huez!

After driving back home from La Clusaz to Val Thorens, the Frostgun Invitational was on thursday.

Got to the jump around 10am on thursday morning and was stoked for the training! The jump was super sweet with a big take off and a lot of amplitude...then they landing came and it was way to flat and short for the size of the jump....moreover it got quite windy and it got really hard to figure out the perfect speed!

Went way to big in the training on every hit and almost overshoot the jump on a sw cork 5 I figured out not to compete because of the wind, cause I was quite tired from all the traveling and my knee and back started to hurt after going to big all the time...

Anyway the other guys did not care and went for it....after quite some nasty crashes during the qualis and semi finals, because of the wind and changing speed conditions Russ Henshaw and Elias Ambuehl battled it out for first place....Elias went big all day long with the sickest sw dub 12 mutes I have ever seen and also a very nice sw dub 14 where he came a little short! Russ went for it with a right dub 12 a left dub 10 and a left dub 14, making no mistakes all day long and becoming a well deserved winner of the 2011 Frostgun Invitational!

Big big shout out to Michael Fugman for hosting such a sick event and to Frodo for almost landing a sick tripple 14!!!!

On friday the 18th I drove to Hoch Ybrig, Switzerland to take part in the 401 Ski Dart comp.
After 2 stopovers at the Scott factory in Fribourg and another one at Belowzero and 4coffee´s later I arrived in Hoch Ybrig!

On saturday the 401 Ski Dart game was on, and the park and the weather were perfect!
Everybody was throwing down and it was very nice to see all my swiss friends again and shred with them ;)
As usual I was the first guy to get down from 401 points to zero in about 4 runs, with some sw right and left10 and some other sweet tricks! I took a small break to get some well deserved food and keept on shredding the perfectly gromed park!

In the end Flo Gey won it all in just 3 runs with sw and foward dub10s and Kai Mahler and me came in a tie 2nd place again having the exact same tricks all the way and also the same amount of runs used....

Had a sick day shredding out there and can´t wait to come back next year!

Now I´m relaxing in Innsbruck waiting to go to Davos, Switzerland tomorrow to go shot a sweet jump together with Elias Ambuehl and the Aestivation crew!
On wednesday I will drive to Kitzsteinhorn for the Austrian Open and next week the Euro Open in Laax...quite a schedule I guess!!!!

Park City World Champs!

Hey Guys,

as you may know, the first ever slopestyle world championships are held in Park City, Utha right now!

Sebi Geiger, Flo Geyer, Beni Meyer, Caja Schöpf, Lena Stoffel and myself where chosen to represent germany over here in the USA by taking part in the slopestyle comp!

After a long and pretty boring flight we finally arrived in Salt Lake city, rented a car and drove down to Park City!

The course is pretty cool , really nice rail features on the top and then 3big jumps with icy and flat landings!

It was quite hard to get the speed dialed for the jumps, I could not get enough speed to hit the first jumps switch, the second one was the best one and then u had to take a sharp left turn into the bottom booter!

I had to go with an more or less easy run, because I got some speed problems and was not able to lay down my run I was original planning to do!

So I did rightside nosebutter 2 in to switch on the downrail into sw left 2 in blind 2 out on the high rail into a rightside blind 630out of the up rail to right 180 up the butter box to sw left 1 out of it into a left misty 9 mute to sw left 9 nose into a right cork 9 blunt on the bottom jump!

I landed everything well so I was pretty stoked on my run even I had to change up things a little bit from what I had planned in the beginning!

Ended up in 19th place, which is not super good but pretty ok when you consider that a lot of people got injured in training or during the comp, because of the speed issues!

Get well Andy, who came short on the bottom feature and had to get flown out to hospital via helicopter....hope to shred with you soon!

In the end Alex Schlopy won it all in a nerve cracking final!

The FIS hosted a pretty decent first Slopestyle event, even the did not consider where to seat the judges until the day of qualifications...everything was broadcasted via cameras, so they did not really see the run in real...just on a screen like everybody else...which was weird but worked out pretty good!

Otherwhise the slopestyle course was really good, especially the rail features, the only problems where the speed and the flat concrete landings....

I´m pretty happy to got the opportunity to be part of this comp and will try to get better in the future for sure!

Today I´ve been skiing the Canyons resort together with Andy Parry, Will Wesson and Shane McFalls,

filmed a little bit with them for the next Traveling Circus episode which was great!

I´ve never been to the Canyons before and they got by far the longest park lap I´ve ever skied, soooo sick and exausting ;)

The last 3 weeks have been really hectic for me!
2week Traveling Circus Trip, 2 exams in between, and straight into another week of filming with Aestivation plus another exam....crazy times haha!

It was another great day, with really good snow, and because I can never get enough, Nico Zacek, Simon Abt, Lena Stoffel, Max Garhammer, Niklas, Klaus Polzer and myself decided to drive to Italy to shred some more pow!!!!

WE found some pretty decent jibs because the snow has not been to good over there, but we also managed to build on sick ass bc jump!

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, but this morning it was on and we had a pretty sick session, unfortunately I had to pull out after 3 jumps ( my first jumps on a bc jump in 4 years...lol...landed all of them haha so I was really stoked) because I needed to drive back to Innsbruck to writte my last exam in university haha...crazy times

Hey Folks,
first a happy new year to all of you, hope u had a good time and some nice x-mas!

Been busy skiing skiing the last weeks, so I could not keep my main focu on my blog, sorry for that ;)

Did some sweet urban in Dresden with the Aestivaion crew got some sweet shots!

Here are a couple of spots we did, really nice ones i think!

moreover I went to Mayrhofen, right before new years, the big line is running in it´s full glory and I can just recommend to everybody who´s around to have a look, it´s definitely worth it!

Now I´m back in DD town to shred some more urban before leaving to Val D'isere to film with the Travelling Circus guys, for the first ever TC europe episode!

Val Thorens

Hey Folks,
as u know I´ve been to Val Thorens last week with the italien crew to compete in the SFR Tour!
The park there was pretty sick and got really good big jumps for the preseason!
So our crew decided to ski the park on sunday with blue bird and a lot of motivation ;)

We also got some filming done, and here is the edit, check it out, it´s worth it ;)

We definitely had a great time shredding, as u can see!

Today I´ve been to Mayrhofen, they got a bunch of new rail and boxes, like dub kinked rail, box and loads more, plus they made the two medium jumps bigger, and produced quite a lot of snow, so I think the park will shine in it´s full glory straight after x-mas!!!!

Gonna be sick, can´t wait to shred the full park!!!!

Hey Folks,
had a sick day shredding today here in Val Thorens!

The weather was sweet and the level of riding very good!

I made it through Finals with a right cork 9 blunt, sw left cork 5 japan, nosebutter cork 7 on the butter box and a right side 4 in blind 2 out on the down box and a k-fed on the straight rail!

The top 4 consisted of Jonas Hunziker, Markus Eder, Guillaume Sbrava and myself!

In the super finals we had one more run to improve our scores with keeping our scores from qualifications so we could go all or nothing without placing worse then 4th place! Pretty good system ;)

In the super finals Jonas did a sweet sw right 9mute to left cork 9 blunt to sw 1 right 7 reverse mute on the butterbox and a rodeo 4 out of the canon box, placing him into 4th position!

I did a right cork 9 blunt to sw left cork 9 mute to shifty into a nosebutter cork 7 high safety on the butterbox and a 4in blind 2 out on the down box!
Placing myself in 3rd position!

Markus did a sweet sw right 7 mute into a sw left dub cork 10 japan into a sw 1 misty7 out of the butter box and rodeo 4 out of the canon box!
Placing him in 2nd!

Guillaume Sbrava did a very sick run with a sw right 7 rev tail into a sw left 10mute into a sw 1 bio9 out of the butter box and a sw on pretzel 2 out of the canon box and ended his run with a gnarly handplant misty 5 over the rainbow box!
This run made him a well deserved winner!

SFR Tour Val Thorens Qualifications

Hey Folks,
just came back from the hill after a long sunny day of qualifications here in Val Thorens!

Everybody was throwing down today, and the whole crew I traveled to france with got qualified which is really nice!

Markus did a sick run with sw back to back 7s misty 7 out of the butter box and rodeo 5 out of the canon box.
Jonas Hunziker also did real good with a sick sw left9 to left cork 7 blunt to right cork 7 reverse mute down the butter box and also a rodeo 5 of the canon box!
I did a right 9 cork blunt into a switch cork left 5 japan/nose to left flat 5 critical down the butter box a sw left 2 blind 2 out on the down box and a 1nose bonk on the rainbow rail!

Overall it has been a sick day, a lot of the people on the list did not show up and half of them crashed while struggling with the speed!

They changed the 2nd jump a little bit, making the knuckle a little bit more round and safe, but the second jump is still not very safe but we all got used to it a lot better then yesterday and had a great time!

Still not sure what run to throw down tmrw, pretty much got everything figured out in my head excpet of that second jump, but we will see!

Hope to get some practice runs in for tmrw morning and then see what things will look like!!!

SFR Tour Val Thorens

Hey Folks,
arrived in Val Thorens yesterday after a heavy drive from IBK to Val Thorens, together with Markus Eder, Stephan, Andreas Bacher and Skye Darden!

Went up to have a training day for tomorrows qualification of the SFR tour!
The set up is nuts... a 18m jump with almost no pop into a second jumps about 15m table but an areal like take off and a 15m long landing plus about 6-7m of airtime at least....almost unskiable and in my opinion very dangerous, u come half a meter short or u take a little bit to much speed and ur done!
After that u have a very cool step up to butter box step down combo followed by an canon box or a gap to downbox and a rainbowbox, s-box or straight rail!
Everything is set up pretty good, except for that second jump, which is real scary!
French kicker style I´d say...

We were taking it easy today, with a lot of straight airs to get used to it, but some french kids throw there selfs out with dub 12 or dub flatspin to overshoot....narly kids...

So for the qualification tmrw I´m not really sure what to do, because I want to stay alive and go film some urban next week....I´m not to excited, but we will see!

Mayrhofen Preseason 2010

Hey Folks,
I have spend the last 2 days in Mayrhofen, shredding the park over there!
They have a pretty fun medium line, with a down rail/box into a kinked rail/box into 2 medium jumps + a sweet mini park with smaller boxes and mini jibs!

Today I´ve been there with my buddies Matthias Egger, Dominic Hasibeder and Patrick Hollaus, we had a sweet day sliding rails and hitting the jumps!

Coming back real strong after his knee injury this january, it makes me really happy to see him shred again and I´m really looking forward to some good trips and skiing days together with him this season!!!!!

As I said the level of riding has been pretty decent, but have a look for yourself!

Today I have also been up in Mayrhofen, and I was pretty surprised, they have a down rail/down box into a kinked rail/kinked box and the 2 medium jumps following plus a ton of smaller jibs like rainbow boxes, straight boxes, baby wallride and some pipes over in the baby park!

It´s definitely worth to go there for a sweet jib session!

the last week I was pretty busy shredding some pow pow around Tirol, and we definitely found some pretty decent conditions!

1st place Jib da House 2010

Hey Guys,
had a wicked weekend in Kaprun!
I´ve been there to take part in the 2nd edition of the Jib da House!
On friday I drove from Innsbruck to Kaprun to start off my weekend!

We were really lucky this year, because all of the riders got to stay in the beautiful Activ by Leitner´s Hotel, one of the best Hotels I´ve ever been to, thx a lot for the sweet accomondation!

On Saturday we went up to the mountain, together with the Italien crew(Fabbro, Markus, Tobias and Martin), Sebi Geiger, Brosei Tom Ritch and a lot of other guys!

We had a sweet session, just jibbing around the park and having fun!
The rail set up was really cool and we had a great time!
Markus also managed to film a little bit, and I hope he will make a small edit ;)

In the evening we were ready for the comp and after 2hours of practice and an amazing level of riding (nosebutter 2 in pretzel 2 out, and sw 2 in pretzel 4 or lip 2 pretzel 2 were just some of the better tricks) the top 8were chosen!

In the finals the format changed from jam to K.O. wich was pretty taff, because all the guys were on top of their game! The 1st finalist had to go against the 8th, the 2nd against the 7th and so on!

In the Semi Finals it was down to Flo Geyer and Markus Eder, were Markus won with a very stylish 2in pretzel 2out heavy head!
I had to compete against Luggi. We had to do 3runs, because it was a really taff battle, but in the end I was lucky enough to move on into Finals with my sw 2 in pretzel 4out, against Markus Eder.

Luggi and Flo also had a really hard battle, with Flo winning in the 3rd and final run with a lip 2, while Luggi had some trouble on his landing!

Then the super final between Markus and me was on.
Markus had to go first and went all in, trying a super stylish nosebutter 2 in on the downrail but failed to clear the rail completly, so I took a safe round and did a 2in!

I had to go first in the 2nd round and because I knew Markus would do something crazy I went all in. Did a sw 2 nosepress blind 2 out on the downrail! Markus tried another nosepress 2 but unfortunately he did not get it as clean as in qualification and I won!!!!!

After the prizegiving we went home for a quick change before we headed to the party!

The next day we made some use of the sweet Spa and Sauna opportunities, before we finally left Kaprun until the next Jib da House in 2011 hopefully!

A big thx to Hias, Sport Bründl and all the other guys for a great event, the best accomondation and one of the most fun ski days I had with my friends!

Hey Guys,
this weekend I have been in London, to get a little sight seeing trip going on and of course to take part in the London Freeze,
I´ve arrived thursday, forgot my backbag, with my laptop and some other stuff at the airport and thought the whole airport would be surrounded by the police because of my lost bag... In the end I was lucky enough to get everything back without having any trouble ;)

Bad Start...

In the end it turned out to be some great first 3 days, but I´ll let the pictures talk instead!

Thx to Phil, for our 5 Star accommodation before the Freeze, it is always a pleasure to hang out with you!

The comp it self run pretty ok... stomped my sw dub 9 even I did not get it as good as in training, so unfortunately I did not make it through qualifications (missed it by 3 spots), but had a great time watching the other guys killing it!
In the end Jacob Wester took home the win with a sweet dub 12mute, Jon Olsson in 2nd with a dub cork 10 dub safety, Henrik Harlaut in 3rd with a sw 10 safety and Russ Henshaw in 4th with a legit sw dub 9 who should have gotten a better score in my opinion...

Anyway the Freeze Festival has been really amazing, no avalanche this year, and I´ll hope to come to London again next year!!!!
There is still a lot of sightseeing to do... ;)

Kaunertal Opening

Hey Guys,

About a week ago the Kaunertal Opening took place!

Everybody is gathering their every year for the first come together of the season and so it was really nice to see a lot of my friends again to shred with them, eat a big Hallenbad Schnitzel and have a beer while watching some Skimovie premiers in the tent!

Besides all of that there is also a rail comp and a Mini Shred plus a kicker comp going on every year!

The set up has been sweet this year with a down flat rail for the rail comp and a pretty fun mini jib and 2bigger jumps for the other 2comps!

Unfortunately I have not gotten any to good Videos or Pictures yet so I will just post the ones I got so far!

Tmrw I will try to get one last chance to ride a jump before leaving to London on thursday for some sight seeing and of course the big air comp!

Aestivation Premiere

Hey Guys,
have been on the road a lot in last weeks, been to all 3 Aestivation premieres so far, and all of them have been wicked!

giving away some goodies to the crowd in Kaunertal!

Unfortunately I just got some Iphone shoots from the one in munich, but better then nothing!

All tickets were sold in Munich, and the crowd is waiting for the movie!

Urban, Pow and sick Park jumps, this year we got it all!

it has been a long time since my last blog!
I had some good reason, due to beeing on the road a lot and surfing!

Anyway, as some of you know I have been to Indonesia for quite a while!

I can just tell you that it is an amazing country with really friendly people and some of the best waves in the world!

Schnalstal Aestivation Shoot

Hey Folks,

last week Friday Max and myself decide to have one last shooting for the Aestivation movie and so we decided to drive from munich to Schnalstal to meet with Sebi Geiger and Matthias Fabbro!

Thx to Peter the head park shaper and the people form the Schnalstal resort we were able to sleep at the Berghotel right at the glacier!

The view was amazing and the sunset mind blowing, but chek out the shoots!

Hey Folks,
due to different circumstance I have unfortunately not been able to blog in the last couple of weeks....lazy me ;)

The last month has been like that.
On the 11th april I went to Arosa to take part in the Chill and Destroy final.
After the weather cleared up we were able to have a proper final, with good conditions. Everybody was going big, boosting nice and tech tricks. In the end it came down to Daniel Oberbichler, with a big and nice sw 10 nose, letting him finish in 3rd place. Yannick Lerjen who came in second with a nice sw 9 mute poke and me. I won the final with my sw dub 9 also known as OssiRolle and furthermore became the new German Slopestyle Champion and finishing in 2nd place of the CAD Tour ranking, with only one contest participation.

After that I went to Hintertux to have some fun shredding days with my friends. The park is amazing and as soon as the weather will clear up in the next days I will be out there again having a blast shredding around.

The week after the Arosa, Nico Zacek surprisingly asked me if I want to come and take part in the 9Knights comp.
Of course I followed his invitation and I could not have been more happy.
The kicker was the best I have ever jumped, with loads of airtime and the steepest landing I have ever seen. Big up to Nico for making such a great Event and to Markus Eder who was straight killing that jump. We also got some amazing shoots for the new Aestivation movie, so make sure not to miss it. It is gonna be the best movie they have ever produced.

After that I went to Hintertux again, before the weather good bad for the last two weeks.
